Drury, who has created the Garden Audio Plant Library has been a keen gardener, plants-man and designer for many years. In 2006 he was a finalist in the BBC Gardener of the Year competition, held in five real house gardens in Tamworth, Staffordshire. He competed against four other contestants over three days to create a bespoke garden specifically to meet the home owners’ needs.
